The Gift of Years Team were invited to a celebratory lunch at Drovers House by the CEO and management of WCS-Care who run Drovers House, Dewar Close and Westlands. There were speeches about the valued contribution we are making to the lives of the residents in their care homes and a big vote of thanks to us all. We were presented with a cheque for £750 to express their thanks and support for our work.
Christine Asbury CEO WCS-Care said, ‘ I realised today that what you do is all about bringing love and joy to our homes. I’m not a religious person but I have found it really very moving. We wish we could have the same service in our other homes in Warwickshire.’
